The Occupational Hygienist or Indoor Environment Professional’s role is to mitigate health risks to those working or living under adverse conditions. Their clients include those engaged in Defence, construction, mining, confined spaces, abattoirs, waste management facilities, refrigerated and heated environments, and those responsible for contaminated buildings.
LITMAS staff are highly experienced in the field, having conducted very large scale Hygiene assessment and risk management projects. This allowed LITMAS to position themselves to support day to day consulting business and science operations. We provide analysis from a diverse and unique range of air and surface sampling devices for a wide range of microbial metrics, all designed to measure potential exposure over different time periods or under certain environmental or working conditions.
We additionally give complementary training from basic to advanced environmental testing and data analysis in Environmental Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Chemistry for our most dedicated clients.
